Ep 22: Risk and Reward Scenarios

In today's episode, we explore how to avoid getting yourself into something that isn't right for you. In this spoke episode, we will build on Ep #21 and help you determine what you're willing to risk to obtain your goal. Stick around till the end because I am sharing a bonus!

[:44] Today we will continue building on Income streams with how to do a risk and reward scenario(s).

[:54] Last week I gave you tips on how to start your own remote work income streams. 

[1:43] Now you are ready to start your remote work income streams, right? Not so fast! I want to help you avoid the pitfalls. Keep listening to find out what problems I had with my first income stream so that you can learn from my mistakes.

[3:45] To help you with choosing the right income stream you have to do a risk and reward scenario. Think of the pros and cons list on steroids.

[4:00] Let's take the work that you did from episode #21, and build on that. Scenario #1. In a year's time if your income stream brought in $100,000 what are you willing to risk for it? Are you willing to risk time? Money? Keeping listening for the details.

[4:40] Keep a list of what you are not willing to risk. These are called deal breakers.

[4:45] In Episode #20 I shared that I did not want my Remote Work School to grow large because I want a more personal relationship with my groups. I found this out by doing a risk and rewards scenario.

[5:15] You can do this exercise over and over again using different goals. Goals could be time, money, emotional, or something as simple as what hours you want to work.

[6:35] So for next week I want you to figure out what you want to risk.

[6:40] Next week will be the final deep dive into remote work income streams. We will tackle what is the right income stream(s) for you!
